Analogies explanation 6: Exceptions

Sometimes there is no logical answer based on the meaning of the word and the form of the word must be used. For example:

  • One letter difference. For example: zone-done, seal-veal, duality-quality
  • Palindromes, this is the same word from back to front . For example: kayak-stats, boob-sis, noon-radar, etc.
  • One word together with the other word forms a new word. For example: beat-heart, line-guide, ship-sportsman etc.

There are not many other possible exceptions. So it pays off to scan for these options if you can't find a logical answer.
