From 1 March, the swimming pool at the Korvinge Leisure Centre will open at 6.30 on weekdays, an hour earlier than at present. The change follows a survey of members, in which a majority of respondents said they would swim before work if the pool opened sooner. To pay for the extra staff hours, the centre will close the pool an hour earlier on Sunday evenings, when the fewest swimmers have come over the past two years. Children's swimming lessons and group classes keep their current times. Members with questions about the new timetable can ask at reception or read the notice on the centre's website.
On weekdays, the pool currently opens at 7.30 in the morning.
