You see here that the difference between the numbers is getting bigger each step and you might think that the numbers are multiplied. However, multiplication does not seem logical, because 6 = 2 * 3, but 15 is not divisible by 6. This is not enough to completely rule out multiplication, but in such cases you first check a monotonous relationship. Therefore draw the additional arches:

Answer: 29 + 19 = 48

Tip: Pay special attention to this pattern if all numbers seem to be related and the differences between the numbers are roughly of the same order of magnitude. In this case, draw the addition arches and you will see the pattern appear. If you don’t see a pattern with the arches, you can quickly scan for another pattern.
