Assessio Bloom was called eelloo until January 2024. Only the name and the house style changed; the tests stayed the same, and you may still see the old name in older invitations and reports. Usually you get the Q1000 ability test (Q1000 Capaciteiten), the test candidates knew for years as the eelloo test. Assessio Bloom also administers Matrigma, and that is a very different test, so check which name is in your invitation. In the Q1000 you get a separate time limit per question, from 25 seconds for a diagram to 70 seconds for a number series, and you cannot go back. The test is also administered in English. Below you practise every section in the right question format and with the same time pressure, and then in a full simulation.

The Q1000 ability test comes in a short and a full version, each at vocational level (Midden) and at higher-education level (Hoog). The short version (QCHV or QCMV) has four sections: diagrams, figure series, number series and analogies, about 30 to 40 minutes. The full version (QCH or QCM) adds cubes and arithmetic. The short version exists so that you can be retested without getting the same items again.
For the whole ability test you need about 45 to 60 minutes. A few rules to build your preparation on:
If you take the ability test at home, the employer can have you sit a short check test afterwards: about 15 minutes, supervised, with the same type of items. They look at whether your score comes close to your home result. If it clearly deviates, the home result is voided and a full new test follows. That is why real practice pays and having someone look over your shoulder does not: you have to be able to repeat your own score under supervision.
Matrigma is a different Assessio test: non-verbal, matrices only, no language and no arithmetic. There is a classic version and an adaptive one that adapts to your level and takes about twelve minutes. If your invitation says Matrigma, practise abstract matrices specifically.
Taking the Midden (vocational) version? Start with the easy sets and include cubes and arithmetic. For Hoog (higher education) the difficult sets and the full simulations are the better yardstick. Our practice tests mimic the question format and the time pressure; they are not copies of the real items.
