Analogies explanation 5: Properties / functions

In analogies based on a property / function relationship, one word is used by the other, used for the other word, or a variation of these relations. Phrases like “A can be used for B and C can be used for D”, or “A is used by B and C is used by D” can help you with these types of exercises.

Examples of word pairs are: gun-shooting, donkey-braying, croupier-casino etc.
